What is “Blogs in the Key of X”

Hi, there. We’re Smokedawg and SepiaQueen, a recently-entered-middle age married couple that wants to get a few more flavors of sex into our life together while we still have our right minds and while our joints and bones can still handle the stress.

First off, just so you know, while we haven’t played music for a make-out session or a fuckfest in ages, when we did it would have been music by Prince, Sting or Stevie Wonder overwhelmingly. And Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life” double album is one of SepiaQueen’s favorites, which served as inspiration for this blog’s title. Plus, unlike the other two guys, Stevie can’t read any of this so he’s less likely to sue us for latching on to the name of his album (kind of). There may be no key of X in music, but there is in our lives, and so “Blogs in the Key of X” will help us share those X-rated moments, whether they be true stories or fantasies.

So, this blog is about sex. And lovemaking. Also, hard fucking. Probably some foreplay, too. Intimacy. Sex. Kinks. Romance. Fetishes. More sex. Building a healthy and adventurous relationship. Did I mention sex yet?

We’ll have posts about our thoughts on things sexual and sensual, our experiences, our journey into new sexual dimensions, erotic fiction, and whatever else strikes our fancy. We may even toss in some sexy photos, but don’t get too eager to see our faces…we aren’t that daring yet and we’re not sure we ever will be (but maybe you can help coax us out of our shell).

Smokedawg already has a couple erotic blogs, both of them fiction-oriented for the most part (though one of them has fetish commentary/opinion stuff at times, too). They are Better With Smoke (which is focused mostly on the smoking fetish but features other stuff along with that particular kink) and Smokedawg’s Non-Smoking Section (for those stories that don’t focus on his favorite kinky activity area, and a few of which aren’t even erotica, though they’re the minority).

Smokedawg is the designated “fetish savant” of the duo, though SepiaQueen is doing her best to catch up fast. Fetish areas that tend to turn him on involve smoking, latex and leather, foodplay and other wet-and-messy sex activities, and glistening made-up lips—along with a host of other kinks that catch his interest from time to time whether in videos, photos, fiction or real life. He also likes that “vanilla” sex, too. SepiaQueen is the more sexually experienced of the two, however, even if she hasn’t done much of the kinky stuff until recently. She is bi-curious and likes a bit of light bondage and spanking from time to time, both on the receiving and giving ends.

No, despite his avatar, Smokedawg isn’t black, but the African-American version of Marvel’s superhero Firestorm looks way cooler than the original Firestorm, and a guy with a flaming head seemed more cool for something to link to Smokedawg’s erotic interest in smoking than finding some cartoon image of an anthropomorphic cigarette. SepiaQueen, however, really is black and damn proud of it.
